You reckon you were in “the zone” yesterday?

Azlan : In “the zone”??.....Nah, I don’t think I played well, actually. I just kept the

             ball going, to be honest.

 Have you ever been in “the zone”?

Azlan : I’ve been in the zone probably like twice in my life.

 Do you have any regime before matches?

Azlan : Nah, nothing. But I grew a beard for this tournament, so, that’s about it.

 What?? So, it’s often a facial, hairy thing to do during pre-tournament?

Azlan : I guess it’s sort of done for me. It’s been such a long time, whenever 

          there’s a tournament or event, it takes my mind off on what’s about to

           happen.

Azlan :Yah, I do actually,

          week, if not, next the latest.

         That’s gonna be cool. Lots of

        interesting  stuff’s gonna be in it.

I’ll check it out then. Is there anything else that you’d like to say about this year’s KL Open ?

Azlan : Nah. It’s over. I won it and I hope to retain it

            next year. I hope it’ll be a

            bigger one though. That’s it.

How’s training in England?

Azlan : It’s good. Weird enough, I actually got used to it, and kind of missed the

             last two weeks, training there.

When did you start training there?

Azlan : Probably 12 or 14 months ago.

How are the leagues or clubs in England?

Azlan : It’s good. My nickname in my club is ‘Azzie’, and I didn’t even tell them

             that was it! They just called me that, you know, and that was good.

How’s the condition there for you?

Azlan : Actually, for the last six weeks, it wasn’t that boring at all. I mean, i’ve got

             my computer, calling Reyhan.....and I’m playing a lot of leagues, so time

             flies.
